Michaela Crockford-Laserer
When Seon and Michaela first met in 2005, she had just finished her degree in Business Administration and was about to set off to backpack around the world for a year. Upon her return she joined a sport marketing agency in Spain where she worked for almost 10 years. During this time she was responsible for the overall organisation and coordination of the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup, an international motorcycle junior championship sponsored by Red Bull and KTM. In late 2012 she left this position to join Seon aboard the Cabrinha Quest as first mate. Michaela speaks 7 languages, English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese and Catalan. She is passionate about the outdoors and raising wild kids. Most of the ideas for the families road trips and expeditions come from her. In 2015 she started the blog “” to inspire other families to take their kids outside and continue adventuring with them.

Part of our vision is to protect the wilderness areas that we enjoy so much. We believe in making it easier and safer for people to be able to explore and connect with nature. Once you have paddled a pristine river, or explored a wilderness area you can’t help but want to protect and care for itSeon Crockford-Laserer.
