Designed for comfort, fishing, and scenery, the canoe style Rendezvous is elegantly simple and lightweight. Ideal for two adults whether exploring new wilderness rivers or your favorite local lake.
The Rendezvous has an innovative design that uses an integrated central thwart in place of seats. This means lighter weight, less bulk, and fewer parts to keep track of which makes packing in a breeze.
On the water, the Rendezvous seats two paddlers like a traditional canoe which is incredibly comfortable for long days on flatwater lakes and rivers. The rear paddler sits on the stern and the front paddler sits on the thwart. The thwart also stiffens up the hull and makes it possible for either paddler to stand for short periods for casting and scouting. This makes it the best fishing model in our lineup.
We recommend the Aquabound Shred-Apart 240cm paddle with the Rendezvous. Use it in canoe configuration when you have two paddlers and want to make time. Use it in kayak paddle configuration so the rear paddler can operate the boat and the front passenger can fish, watch wildlife, or prepare a mid-river lunch.

BEST USE and COMPARISON
FISHING
The perfect two-person fishing packraft, the Rendezvous lets you operate like a mini drift boat. The stern paddler maneuvers the Rendezvous while the front passenger casts, creating the perfect stealth setup. The canoe style seating is extremely comfortable and offers ideal casting and maneuvering position. You can even stand up for a quick targeted cast.
FLATWATER
As a canoe-style packraft, the Rendezvouse is best paddled in flatwater conditions such as lakes and flatwater rivers with an occasional lightwater (up to easy class II) section. It is not as fast as the Tango, however the Rendezvous is very comfortable for long days paddling so its better for people who want to spend more time sightseeing and longer journeys.
RENDEZVOUS VS FORAGER
The Rendezvous excels on flatwater and fishing trips. The Forager is better for hauling gear, hunting, and perfect for loading up the whole family, including kids and dogs. The floor on the Rendezvous is more suited for flatwater conditions, while the Forager has a self bailing floor which is suited more lightwater and whitewater conditions. The Rendezvous is more comfortable for two adults, but the Forager offers more versatility.
RENDEZVOUS VS TANGO
Both the Rendezvous and Tango are ideal flatwater tandem packrafts, but with different purposes. The canoe style Rendezvous is meant for more leisurely paddling, sightseeing and fishing, while the kayak style Tango is meant for speed and efficiency for longer trips covering more miles.

BUILD CONFIGURATIONS
OPEN: The Rendezvous has an open configuration that integrates a central thwart in place seat. It is best paddled with a canoe style paddle with the rear paddler sitting on the stern and the front sitting on the centre thwart seat.
CARGO FLY: Alpacka's innovative Cargo Fly internal storage system comes standard on the Rendezvous. The Cargo Fly features an airtight zipper installed in the stern of the boat to allow you to store your gear inside the tubes. The system provides drier and more secure gear storage and improved paddling performance due to a lower center of gravity.
Internal Dry Bags may be purchased separately and are designed to work with the Cargo Fly system. The bags slip inside the Cargo Fly zipper and can be organized along the inside of the tubes to balance the load. The XL Internal Dry Bags are sized to fit with the Rendezvous hull size, but the Roll-Top and Zippered Dry Bags will work as well. We recommend 1-2 sets of bags for the Rendezvous.

The Rendezvous will comfortably carry two adults up to 250lbs | 114kgs per person. Cargo weight recommendation is up to 80lbs | 36kgs per person for general use and up to 150lbs | 68kgs per person for extended trips.
