"Unfassbar nette Kommunikation mit Michaela und Seon inkl. persönliches Treffen mit Probesitzen in allen in Frage kommenden Packrafts, Möglichkeit einer Probefahrt und ausführliche Beratung vor Ort. Die beiden haben sich wirklich sehr viel Zeit für die Beratung genommen und auch Klartext geredet. Schlussendlich habe ich ein Gnarwhal bestellt, das dann sogar noch etwas schneller als ursprünglich angekündigt bei mir in Deutschland angekommen ist. Mit dem Gnarwhal XL bin ich sehr zufrieden. Ich bin etwa 1,96m groß und relativ schwer, passe aber recht ordentlich in das Packraft. Herzlichen Dank!"
"Incredibly nice communication with Michaela and Seon including personal meeting with testing all possible packrafts and detailed advice on site. The two of them really took a lot of time for the consultation and also straight forward advice. Finally I ordered a Gnarwhal, which arrived in Germany even faster than originally announced. "Wir haben am vergangenen Wochenende eine Kombi-Tour gemacht und waren dabei mehrere Stunden auf einem Fluss unterwegs. Wir konnten somit unsere neuen Rafts (Alpacka Series) ausgiebig auf Komfort, Fahreigenschaften und Materialbeschaffenheit testen. Positiv aufgefallen ist uns das neue Material. Die Materialbeschaffenheit ist im gesamten deutlich weicher und dennoch robuster als bei unseren alten MRS Microrafts und auch bei Vorgängermodellen der Alpacka Serie. Dadurch lässt sich das Raft noch leichter aus dem mitgelieferten Packsack aus und wieder einpacken. Der Schraubverschluss des Ventils lässt sich sehr einfach händeln und ist deutlich besser als der Klickverschluss der alten Alpacka Modelle. Die Wildwasserspritzdecke war von Beginn an problemlos über den Süllrand zu ziehen und hielt uns die komplette Tour trocken. Im Vergleich zu unseren alten MRS Microrafts gleitet das Alpacke Classic bedeutend geschmeidiger und schneller über das Wasser. Durch die große Sitzfläche sind auch mehrstündige Touren problemlos und sehr angenehm im Raft zu fahren. Mit der Wahl der Größe der Rafts sind wir auch zufrieden, Ich 196 cm in XL und Sie 174 cm in M.
Der Kundenservice, die Beratung und Lieferung waren ausgezeichnet. Ich hatte diverse Rückfragen, die am gleichen Tag, oder spätestens am darauffolgenden Tag per E-Mail beantwortet wurden. Die individuelle Beratung war super und lies nichts vermissen. Dafür, dass die Packrafts aus Amerika importiert werden, erfolgte die Lieferung doch recht schnell. Das eine Raft haben wir in drei und das andere Raft in vier Wochen erhalten. Die Bezahlung erfolgte in unserem Fall per Online-Überweisung und die Zahlungsabwicklung war ebenfalls problemlos.
Unser Fazit: Wir sind rundum zufrieden!"
"We did a combined tour last weekend and spent several hours on the river. This allowed us to test our new rafts extensively for comfort, paddling characteristics and material properties. The new material was very positive. The material is much softer and more robust than our old MRS Microrafts and predecessors of the Alpacka series. This makes it even easier to unpack and repack the raft from the supplied bag. The screw cap of the valve is very easy to handle and is much better than the click cap of the old Alpacka models. The whitewater spraydeck was easy to pull over the coaming from the beginning and kept us dry the whole tour. Compared to our old MRS Microrafts, the Alpacke Classic glides much smoother and faster over the water. Due to the large seat even tours of several hours are very comfortable and easy to ride in a raft. We are also satisfied with the choice of raft size, I 196 cm in XL and my wife 174 cm in M.
The customer service, advice and delivery were excellent. I had various questions, which were answered the same day, or at the latest the following day by e-mail. The individual advice was super and nothing was missing. For the fact that the Packrafts are imported from America, the delivery took place nevertheless quite fast. We received one raft in three weeks and the other one in four weeks. The payment in our case was made by online bank transfer and the payment process was also problem-free.
Our conclusion: "We are completely satisfied!"

"Earlier this month had a fabulous 4 days with Packraft Europe in Gosau. 2 day packrafting clinic with Mark Oates, Jen and Seon, focusing on paddle strokes, choice of line and positioning within the paddling group. Massively impressed by the knowledgeable and detailed coaching, analysis of particular paddle strokes and theory of line choice. Fabulous two days paddling. Very impressed by all the time taken, after first long day of paddling, of watching back tape of us all paddling, analysis of technique and where and how to improve.
Then did the 2 day Rescue 3 WRT-Rec course with Seon. Learnt a heap on hydrology, river features and characteristics, knots, rescue techniques and considerations, and then drilled them thoroughly on the river.
All this in the stunning surroundings of the scenery around Gosau, where there is a crazy wealth and range of water, from lakes to Grade 5.
Fabulous instruction. Can’t recommend enough."

We instantly liked the raft they had there and we were so stoked that it was possible to try the rafts the next day.
