NEW CUSTOM WW REFUGE 210D WW YES CARGO FLY - SIZE LARGE

Limited edition custom WW Refuge Size Large is made with Alpacka regular 210D Fabric instead of the Lightweight 210D fabric. It is a little stiffer and more durable than the lightweight fabric however also a little heavier and bulkier.

The regular 210D fabric is stiffer and more durable than the lightweight fabric used on the regular Caribou models.

Alpacka Raft offers 4 types of hull fabric. D is short for Denier and refers to the thickness of the thread used in making the fabric. Urethane is the "rubber" coating that is applied to the nylon fabric to make it airtight and waterproof. 

1. Super Ultralight 70D Nylon, this has 1 coat of Urethane and is only used on the Ghost. 
2. Lightweight 210D Nylon, this has 1 coat of Urethane and is used on the ultra lightweight packrafts: Scout, Caribou, refuge. This Fa
3. Regular 210D Nylon, this has 2 coats of Urethane and is used on: Wolverine, Gnarwhal, Expedition, Oryx, Mule, Ranger 210D, Classic etc. 
4. Heavy Duty 420D Nylon,  this has 2 coats of Urethane and is used for extra durability and added stiffness (performance) on: Forager, Woverine 420D, Gnarwhal 420D, Ranger 420D, etc. 

The Whitewater Refuge is exactly what it sounds like—the ultralight landscape adventure Refuge made more whitewater capable with whitewater rigging and a full strength 840d floor. Skilled paddlers will find the Whitewater Refuge a joy to paddle in wilderness class III and an excellent packraft to surf in the local play wave.

The final package comes in at right around 3.2kgs, which is lighter than a similar Classic that has no whitewater rigging.

This version has all of the same great features as the Refuge, but adds whitewater thigh straps, whitewater foot brace and a stronger floor, combining all of Alpackas best features into the lightest possible package for ultimate landscape traverses that include backcountry whitewater
